The Cookie Lady was born out of necessity. I began my love of everything horses when I was 7 years old. My sister, Whitney, and I read every Saddle Club book, cover to cover, before my mother gave us the gift of riding lessons for our October birthdays. We participated in camps, lessons, and working student programs to really understand horsemanship and what it takes to create a bond with our equine partners. Coming from a very strong and successful business oriented family, where art and expression has always been encouraged, my love of horses helped me develop and become very self sufficient as an equestrian. I’ve designed my own show clothes, made exclusive pieces for friends and peers, become artistic and thrifty, and really just made the decision that there wasn’t anything I couldn’t do. From humble beginnings, to top placings at the American Quarter Horse Association Lucas Oil World Championship Show...hard work always pays off!

I never show up without treats in my pocket, and (with permission, of course) love the nickers I get when “The Cookie Lady” shows up. After purchasing for years, I thought, “hm, I can do better.” So, I put my bakers hat on and created my own equine confection. Small batches, right here on my farm, in my little kitchen. Simple, Sweet, Gourmet. I use only the finest confectionery quality, human grade ingredients, and, yep, you guessed it...I eat everything I feed my horses. No bitter, hard as a rock, pretty but nasty tasting animal treats. No way! I make sophisticated equine confections for the discerning equestrian who wants only the best for their equine companions. My sweets are individually packaged, heat sealed, and made in small exclusive batches to guarantee freshness and great taste every single time!
